The Tableland Drifters were invited to play at The Dreaming Festival during Woodford folk Festival 2011/12. |
They band had chosen to fly out of Darwin when the train crossing and bridge collapsed due to heavy rain. Two nights were spent in Catherine. |
The Band was forced to spend many hours on the side of the road waiting for it to open. |
Three days after the initial leaving day we were on our way. Above is some of the damage caused by the derailment. |
We all arrived on the day that The Tableland Drifters were to play. December 30th 2011. |
